Hi All, I am finally nearing the end of a year+ divorce for a 2 year marriage and am angry, exhausted, and really sick of entitled bullshit so sorry if I go on a tangent here and there, I just need some advice... (btw, this has been between us, no lawyers other than one consultation each, I am already out tens of thousands, I can't afford it especially since I'd probably end up paying for hers since she only works part time if that.)

At the moment we live apart, we agreed on the dollar amount for me buying her out of the house, but there is a lingering issue that she won't let go. We bought the townhouse(with my life savings) and it had a shared complex pool right out the back yard gate. Long story short, she wants to be able to use the pool for literally as long as I live there. She says I won't even see her since I'll be at work when she uses it. I'm guessing she is assuming she'll be able to use my house to go to the bathroom as well when there. She has kids from a previous marriage so it won't just be her there. And the HOA rules state that residents have to accompany guests and she isn't a resident.

So on top of a huge payout to make the house 100% mine, she still thinks she is entitled to this because she never would have bought the house if it didn't have the pool. I don't want to pay for lawyers this is draining me as it is. This doesn't even seem legal, it's insane, and against the HOA rules. We will be meeting with the document preparer who knows the law to finish the settlement agreement paperwork, will they put the nix on this madness? She can't have it both ways right?
