You're gonna owe lifetime alimony in California after 30 years.

If the house isn't being used by you or making money off rent, I'd sell it just because it makes financial sense. In the end, it's all getting split up down the middle, so it makes no difference in terms of the divorce.

Maybe you can rent the house give her mobey from that as alimony.You need a lawyer and financial advisor.I think I would try and keep a house that's paid for its an asset but you need to be making money off of it.
