Hey guys! I’m a 23 year old divorced male. Nearly a year after my divorce, I’ve been hit with an odd situation. I was divorced September 19th of last year. Filed August 7th, and separated mid June with that being our last day we slept together. My ex wife apparently got knocked up before our divorce was over by another man, and gave birth in may. So I’m fully certain the child is not mine. HOWEVER, she received a letter in the mail saying that the bio father cannot have his name on the birth certificate unless he either gets a paternity test OR I sign a denial of paternity affidavit. Has anyone had a similar situation? Anything I need to be concerned with? I’m terrified that they’re going to place my name on the birth certificate without my consent and I’ll be stuck paying child support for a kid that’s not mine
