Since I was little boy, I could relate and form strong relationships with any girl I had my eye on. I was also really good at making male friends in elementary school. ALL of these good male friends turned out to be gay by the time we made it to high school.

I have always struggled with making connections with overtly masculine people. When I do form some kind of relationship I'm usually in the passive (apprentice like) role where my frame is irrelevant. When in groups, I'm usually 'that guy'.

What I'm asking is: How do I learn to form connections with males?
