I hate the "Age Restriction, watch on YouTube" bullshit, but I posted this under discrimination because it's based on the gender roles (gender prejudices) of rape in pop culture.

Unfortunately, this is something that men can contradict themselves, including me. I acknowledge that men don't want to be forced into a situation (STDs, unknown children, homosexual, religious, faithfulness, fear of false allegations, etc.).

Maybe the creators of these movies or shows have made fun of sexual violence against girls as well, just a thought.

I wouldn't really say it's a good video. It's a good video to see instances of male assaults being taken as a joke in movies/TV, but the commentator is clearly a feminist, and still slyly blames men/patriarchy for most of these portrayals.

The video basically starts off with a disclaimer that most male victims have male perpetrators as well (not true, it's only true if you use feminists stats, that make women unable to rape men), clearly sending the messege that, although men do get raped/assaulted by women, the overwhelming majority of the time it's other men doing it. Clearly a diversion tactic to take away the blame from women who assault men.

The first segment "gender flipping" clearly shows that in this guys head, just like society's thinking, males are the default perpetrators, while women are the default victims, and that switching those around is just an anomaly that rarely happens.

He even states (14:40) that "in the real world, women are FAR less likely to commit sexual violence" which is again, not true. He follows that up with more stats that say 82% of juvenile rape victims are girls and 90% of adult rape victims are female. Then he follows "when men are sexually assaulted, it's primarily done by other men", and "adult men being sexually assaulted by women is rare, compared to the reverse" he has to constantly speak these lies to take the blame away from women, and to remind us of the lie that men are the overwhelming majority of perpetrators, while women are generally innocent beings. To top this off, he even follows that up with "we still live in a world that's male dominated"

The last 3-4 minutes is filled with feminist garbage. At the 32 minute mark he states "while the sexual assault of men is not taken seriously, that doesn't mean the sexual assault of women, is taken seriously either" as if they're even comparable. Male sexual assault gets maybe 1/100 of the coverage female assault does. He continues that by saying "most of the time, female survivors are dismissed or simply not believed, and male attackers are rarely held accountable" (the background footage was of the Kavanagh trial, and a video of him and trump shaking hands, make of that what you will), what world is this guy living in where supposedly females are dismissed and males are rarely held accountable? Its actually the opposite, most of the time females are believed even without any proof, and innocent men have their lives destroyed in the name of being "held accountable" for something they didn't do. Then he says "the sad reality is, society doesn't take the sexual assault of anybody seriously", which is straight up false, we take the assault of women very seriously, but don't give a damn about men's assaults.

Then he says that men's assaults being played for laughs is not evidence of anti male bias, rather its evidence of shame and blame culture that females deal with on a daily basis. Then maybe the worst of all, he says that many of those pushing back against these portrayals have been women, which is untrue. The background footage was of some mainstream feminist comedian (don't remember her name) who I think has bashed men repeatedly on her show before. Basically the messege he's trying to send is that feminists care about men's issues, it's you men who don't.

And then one of the comments said "you're not liked by the MRAs, which is ironic. MRAs would see you as an ally if they actually cared about helping men, not just bashing feminism" that comment had 3.5k likes. MRAs don't like him because he constantly blames men for men's issues, and that's the same reason men bash feminism too, because they are a man hating movement.
