I like the "ability to be a mother" not that she probably even IS a mother.. just her "ability to be a mother" is affected. Funny how carefully they word that. They ALWAYS throw in the 'mother' angle... even up the woman isn't one.

she's so ashamed... so ashamed that she fought it in court and in the nationwide media for 2 years. I would think if she were really ashamed she'd plead guilty right away... because, you know she's guilty.

She received TWO YEARS paid leave on taxpayer money. I highly doubt if it was a guy teacher he'd be likewise compensated. Assuming $50k salary/yr that's proba bly around $140k in cost to the taxpayers including overhead (health insurance, retirement matching, workman's cono insurance, etc) for a teacher who thinks there is nothing wrong with sex with students, otherwise she wouldn't have sued it was her constitutional right .

18 months in jail + 2 years free salary.. I wonder what a man would've gotten for smashing with 2 students and being callous enough to say "fuck you Alabama! I did nothing wrong, its my right to fuck students" and have no remorse for the victims. Highly doubt 18 months in jail and 2 years salary would be the result.
