So this is an article about new, potential victims from the West murders. For those of you who don't know, Fred and Rose West raped, tortured and murdered several young people in the UK in the 70s and 80s.

Both were convicted in the 90s, and Fred committed suicide in prison while Rose is still in prison serving a whole life order for 10 murders.

The thing that pisses me off about this is that these articles have been cropping up lately due to some potentially new victims in their killing spree. If you note, the articles fixate entirely on Fred and only mention Rose in passing as a potential witness/source of information.

This is despite the fact that she actively look part in the murders and she herself would torture and sexually assault the victims, and took part in her husband's sexual assaults and torture of the victims. It is also generally believed that she was the dominant, controlling partner in a lot of this, while Fred was an impulsive and brutal sadist (after their convictions, he desperately tried to reach out to her for support and she ignored him completely).

These two are some of the most evil people in modern British history, yet the press seems to rather conveniently forget that it was a partnership. Should there not be a sizeable portion of the blame and suspicion laid on the still living partner (who was at best an equal partner, at worst the dominant one)? It's completely unjust to everyone involved that her crimes are forgotten in all of this.
