They have an iron Dome, unlike Palestine, they have advanced equipment, unlike Palestine. They have the right to promote Zionism internationally, whereas promoting Hamas internationally is illegal. It isn't a fair war. Israel has been happy to support groups that use child soldiers also, such as the ypg/ypj, so yes technically Israel and America are responsible for using civilians as shields, because using a child soldier is using an innocent as a weapon / shield. If the police in America treated protesters or even rioters the same way Israel has treated Palestinian protestors, Americans would go beserk, if you want to promote Zionism then feel free but expect to be challenged.
Edit - And just to clarify, I am not technically even an anti Zionist based on the dictionary definition of Zionism. I have no problem with Jews having their own block of land and military if that's what they want, but I am against the conduct of that state, I am criticizing actions, not race. If Israel wants a lack of criticism from me and others it should come on TV and apologize to the world and to Palestine, change its laws and conduct and stop being hypocrites.
So when I advise don't promote Zionism, I don't mean don't promote a Jewish state, what I mean is don't promote the hypocritical actions of a state, most if not all of the things I say in criticism of Israel can also be said when it comes to the actions of the USA military, the Russian military, the Syrian military and many more.
