You know masculinity, the thing that make men rapists.

"They also advise psychologists to understand the role of power, privilege, and sexism in the development of boys and men on their relationships with others. Psychologists should also strive to promote healthy intimate relationships—characterized by respect, emotional intimacy and sharing, and mutuality—in boys and men."

When a male victims come to you, first thing to do is to make sure that he knows how to not be a domestic abusers.

"As an organization that has explicitly worked with male survivors since the late 1990s, BARCC knows all too well how toxic masculinity works as a systemic barrier and an internal barrier for male survivors of sexual violence. Men aren’t typically socialized to think they are at risk for sexual assault, so if it is done to them, they may feel weak or less “manly,” experiencing feelings of shame and stigma. "

It is not the lack of awareness, services and empathy but masculinity who makes men wait so long.

We all know that only men mocked Terry Crews. Or that" boys will be boys" was always about excusing male rapists.

"Creating a societal climate in which men feel freer to express their emotions and receive effective, appropriate treatment for their mental health issues makes a safer society for all of us."

We must help men because they are a danger for us.

They are doing it good. I am sure lot of men comes to them. And those who come, come by choice, not because of the lack of services for men.

This kind of crap is why we need to create our own services or have review of these kind of services.
