I don't care what gender you are, being fat should not be glorified. I'm aware that not everyone can be thin for fit and I'm not saying that we should treat fat people as subhuman or anything, but to be trying to glorify being obese is a problem.

There is nothing positive, progressive, or good about being fat.
NO doctor, nurse, EMT, or other hands-on worker would ever push that nonsense.
People who believe in that garbage are delusional and will suffer health problems b/c of it.

I know when a woman complains "oh I'm fat" which is sad and I had quite a bit of trouble with this why does nobody suggest a gym or healthier food or it'll be like agreeing but no it'll be trying to help yes women are more likely to think they're fat but it's shamed so much less you should eat good and be healthy

The problem is that the message fails where it should work.

You are still a person worthy of respect love etc when you are fat is a message most good willed people accept and support.

Telling people false facts about their consition( aka being fat is healthy) is not. Its not loving them. Its signaling for woke points while harming this person's health.

Love can be looking for the person's interest even if it seems harsh. Telling a fat person that being fat is unhealthy and trying to help him/her is loving and caring for them. Its caring for their health.

This is sadly the result of the body positivity movement. I have no qualms with the movement but I there are some negative consequences that have come with it. Mostly that the whole fatphobia thing has only applied to women moreso than men like mentioned here. There are some other issues like condoning unhealthy lifestyles or allowing some people to continue to be lazy.

I got yelled at by a woman because I was telling my friends in a discord how I am not attracted to morbidly obese women. She said "what about their personality" and I replied by stating that it still doesn't change my unattraction to them. She called me a sexist and a bunch of other shit and it was all just so fucking stupid. I also said i'm not attracted to morbidly obese men as well but somehow that didn't matter to her. In her mind it's wrong of me to not be attracted to morbidly obese women. That it's wrong of me to have my own standards. It doesn't click in her head how messed up it is for her to try to dictate what I am and are not attracted too. As if I'm not allowed to have autonomy over my own sexual preferences. That's the mentality that is taking over our nation right now.

Yep. I would see that when I defended fat people if it was only women or included women my comments would receive support but if my defense was for a person or people that were only male there would be virtually no support.
