Glad to see this as courts aren’t usually very fair to dads even dads who have full custody.

I had to take my ex wife to court after she refused to pay child support for our two daughters.

Fun fact, even if she did pay you the $500 a month for years you could've took her to court for back child support bc the court will see that as a gift. Happened to me years ago.

Before I had primary custody of my daughter I was told by judge I had to pay 50$ a week and I had no job, I was in Search of employment at the time and still made payments. If I didn’t pay I would risk losing my license, which meant not being able to make it to a job and or jail time. I eventually gained primary custody as a single father and after I brought her to court for support they only have her paying 12.00$ a week for support. She only sees her every other weekend.

This belongs in premature victory. Last statistic I saw, less than 30% of women courts required to pay child support ever paid a penny. The courts can serve warrants and throw the women in jail for not paying, but its simply not enforced, especially if the woman has other children with another man so they just drop it.
