Why is it okay for clubs to have "free entry for women" and "free drinks for women", when it's clearly gender discrimination?

This is a supply and demand thing. Men accept it because it gives them more women to chase.

That this is possible is really men's fault.

Well, usually the free drink thing is for a couple hours. Having women packing the place and drinking, usually ends up with them drinking more, as the men will also be buying drinks. They usually have one of the 2 to cover the cost of alcohol by charging door rates, or like the first part. Hope that explains it better.

Guys tend to be the one buying women drinks.
A lot of men (not most) are stupid and will do more stupid things while drunk; like buying a woman a drink. That means her time is based on the value of money you spend on her.
I quit buying women drinks years ago. If she won't give me time after that I know what 'kind' of woman she is.
I'll also give her the truth in how it devalues her as a woman and shows her worth in us is in money.

More women, more men who show up, more drinks bought, they make a profit so they do it again.

In the U.S. Federal law does not protect equal access to public accommodations base on sex. California, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin have local laws that does, so it's illegal in those states (as far as I can tell)

I've seen both men and women drink-for-free nights. I guess it just depends on where you live, and I've never seen complaints when it goes either way. I'm not saying you're wrong though.

Don’t go to these venues if you don’t like them. I stopped. I realised there’s no point for me going to clubs to find women because I’m not even attracted to club women and I’m contributing to the extra supply of men.

It shouldn't be legal.

It's not legal, but no one sue them that's why they continue the practice.
