So India is a very unsafe country for women, and there have been strict rules to change that. With all the crimes against them being in place they have been given undue power instead of empowerment. The ratio of men to women is so poor here, the slightest of pretty girls can make cold hard cash from home being untalented instagram influencers. Unnecessary bias towards them in corporates and other companies for jobs.

I feel all this is because of the disparity in our gender ratio. No wonder so many indian girls who study overseas in western countries come back here with disappointment, when they feel they are not getting the same validation there despite being pretty by Indian standards. Our standards are not low by default its a 1.4 billion people god damn population majority being men and daily wage workers. A girl's beauty depends on her genes and socio economic upbringing more than anything else.

2010 i had travelled to Singapore. When in the market square my mom looked at somebody and sighed being bewildered "why is such a pretty girl playing a saxophone on the streets for money? Can't anybody give her a decent job?". Thats when the sad reality of our country hit us. I am not saying women sleep with bosses for jobs here but they get undue preferential treatment while being employed because the companies want to look like a safe to work environment. Men have to work 10x as hard to just make a living unless they are kids of some Bollywood actors or politicans.

Feminism has gone off the rails here. A woman brought 35 goons to beat up 3 men in the North Of India 1 year back. Reason? They had a scuffle over car parking and while being prosecuted the woman lied she was being molested thus an angry mob appeared out of nowhere to brutualy beat the students. (komal vs madhav case Amity university) Any woman can get up and claim to be molested and the cops willing believe just because the country is infamous for that? A 17 y old boy had killed himself following false allegations in may this year and that girl is not yet prosecuted. (manav singh suicide)

TL; DR i hate how india is at the moment for men's rights.
