OK so I was on facebook and there was a post on the misandrist 9Honey about "evil mother in laws". 9Honey is essentially catering to women and the out pouring of hate on MILs ensued. I posed the question below. The response I thought nailed it on the head as women hate not having control.

The (sexist) feminist Duluth Model identifies "Using Isolation" as a DV tool. I would suggest that anyone who is married soon realises that wives manipulate the family time to be more in line with their family than the husband's family.

The DV industry would like us all to believe that DV is just men hitting women and trying to control them, but this is a good example of female DV against men. I think DV is all about an inability to negotiate and resolve conflict effectively. What are some strategies men can use to "balance" time between the two sides of the family, or do we have to accept that women hate MILs because they can?
