A lot of people want things to progress towards equality across the board, and that’s great! But now it seems like wanting a traditional life is something to be ashamed of. With how feminists are pushing for more power to women, it seems wrong for men to want to be in power, but it isn’t! I don’t say this out loud, but my dream is to be a house wife or to work a simple job at home and take care of the kids while my husband works a good job and supports us. I think it would be his right to control most things to do with money since he would be the one earning it. But thinking like this seems wrong. I support men’s rights because without this movement it feels like men would be oppressed, unable to even enjoy a nice family life without being ridiculed and demonised. It’s not wrong to wish for a traditional lifestyle, and despite what feminists want you to believe, there are those of us women that want a man in power, and that trust the men in our lives to make decisions that do right by us.
