I don't understand why these people try to make it a competition between men and women. I've read a few articles like this recently and they always start by spouting statistics to show that women have it worse. So what if they do? What sort of person thinks their pathetic little gender war is more important than helping people?

The UK is getting worse for discrimination and inequality, I cannot understand why and how such hatred and harmful divisions have been allowed to, not only rear its ugly head, but to flourish with barely any protest from MPs, lawmakers and public.

I find it truly frightening, I write to MPs, House of Lords members...etc. but receive the same indoctrinated illogical rhetoric that ‘I need to understand that women have suffered, and continue to suffer, inequalities’ I am a woman! Are you seriously telling me I don’t understand what it is to experience life as a woman, that I require the feminist obsessed government to teach me how I should think in order to be a good, acceptable woman?

I won’t stay silent however, as little as I am able to do in an attempt to stop the relentless march of feminist oppression, I will continue regardless because I know that one day, we will triumph.

This is the part of EU legislation and international legislation pushed by the Istanbul Convention that I find truly deplorable. Fine hate men, they are adults but why the fuck is there this active effort to exclude boys from protection. They are children, why punish children?!

In the UK we have a government group called VAWG, violence against women and girls which is task with dealing with domestic abuse. Why exclude 1/4 of all victims (more according to the ONS)? And why exclude boys? Their (CPS) response to this is "we are following UN guidelines". Rotten to the core. The name explains their intent. How can you exclude a child victim of domestic abuse because they are male? I do not think any rational person would not be appalled by this.

I'm having trouble understanding the logic of this journalist. She acknowledges that men are victims of domestic violence as well as women, but feels the need to compare the rates of DV by sex to justify laws that would provide services to women and girls, and deny services to men and boys. She thinks this is equity.

Her justification for this is to just get it done, to stop delaying important sexist and admittedly flawed legislation, because it's more important to provide services to female victims of DV, than to ensure that people are not denied services on the basis of their sex.

The only reasonable consistent thread throughout her article is her entrenched and unremitting misandry, and her overwhelming sense of entitlement and gynocentrism. Since when has it become laudable to be such a sexist pig.

I hate how journalists constantly have to compare male to female domestic violence. In a piece about female domestic violence, they'd never mention male domestic violence by means of a comparison.

It's not a competition. It doesn't matter who "has it worse" - what matters is that men and women are being domestically abused, which is absolutely abhorrent. Rather than trying to diminish men's abuse as it's apparently not as common as women's abuse, it'd be far more sensible to unify and recognise that we have a universal problem.

It seems that some people assume that anything that focuses on men's stories is there to trample out women's stories. It's absolute bullshit.

More than a little needs to change. When you consider that a man defending himself against a violent woman can lead to a MAF conviction. The legal system is a steaming turd where lawyers just want to draw out cases to make as much money as possible from a system that offers no hope of a fair trial. The number of other groups that also profit is horrendous. The conflict of interest in this corrupt system must be extreem.

Women are not better than men. The only reason men kill more women is because they are stronger physically otherwise it would be 50/50. I am bi and I was with a violent woman that heated me and when I told people I was shocked to realize nobody cares, as people thought it was not a big deal if women are violent.
