My gf has a bad habit of calling men she doesn't know anything about douche bags, simply based on looks or mannerisms.

Today I took a step forward and simply asked, "why is he a douche bag?"

She said, "You're right, that was aggressive, I'm sorry." And downgraded the judgment to just "bro."

I may not be able to change the society at large, but at least I can help the people around see how hateful/harmful their words and actions can be.
