I wish I could find the paper that talked about this exactly. To paraphrase, women are more likely to assume someone being an ass to them is a doing it because they are woman (ie sexism). Men are more likely to assume someone being an ass to them is just an ass. Meaning, women see "sexism" when it reality that person is just an ass, and would be an ass regardless of if they are acting that way to a man or a woman.

So I realized you (men) don't get really taught how to show feelings First of all, stop with this nonsense. Men are constantly told they need to "cry more". It's just that those emotions are generally unwanted by women. I honestly refuse to let him shut me out, cause I know he's not ok and I want to help. Maybe he doesn't want your help. Have you thought about that? Why is you forcing what YOU want more important than what he wants? Have you considered that? I understand how it's hard for guys t…

Well, that shouldn't matter right? I mean, after all, a trans woman is a woman, right??? At least that's what they've been hammering on about. I'd like to see some consistency from the media on it, but I won't hold my breath.

Police will also be told they must treat violence against women and girls as seriously as terrorism What does this even mean? What is the punishment for terrorism charges in the UK? Under the plans, the worst abusers would also be electronically tagged So some kind of chip implant? There's no way this is legal, right? No woman or girl should ever have to feel unsafe in her home or community and I am determined to stamp out these appalling crimes But fuck men, amiright?

Funny how YOU get to decide when "others" get it wrong about toxic masculinity. Sounds like rampant narcissism to me. But didn't you see? He's a psychology major!!! lmao
/r/MensRights17/02/23 02:24 PM

Women can also express toxic masculinity, but normally they don't, if they did, it would be called toxic femininity. This makes absolutely no sense. What you are describing are toxic traits. But then assigning those traits that are shared between men and women as a function of masculinity and femininity. This is absurd.

Using physical violence to solve social problems I didn't realize only men used voilence. Always expecting a reward for every human interaction Um, what? I’m pretty sure all the richest people are men This is called the Apex Fallacy. when someone evaluates a group based on the performance of best group members, not a representative sample of the group members Something feminists are all too familiar with. Coincidentally, the nadir fallacy is when someone evaluates a group using the worst group members. Which is ALSO something feminists tend to do.

My biggest question would be, how many men explicitly abstained from voting Democrats I didn't entirely abstain from voting democrat. But I did take a hard look at the policy proposals for my local elections. There were a some that I couldn't vote for because of their policies. But I didn't vote republican instead, I just voted blank ballot for those positions.

Less problematic masculinity? As defined by who, feminists? You then go on to list competition. Do you think competition is problematic? Do think a drive to compete is solely a masculine trait? Is it also problematic when women compete? Are they exhibiting problematic femininity in that case? You need to file a complaint against those officers too. That's a clear cut trespassing. You told them to leave. They didn't. That's trespassing.
/r/MensRights04/02/22 12:49 AM

This is good advice, however.....I would add the caveat that you MUST have video footage. Otherwise, thanks to the Duluth model, you are likely to be "removed" when you call the police.
/r/MensRights03/02/22 12:32 AM

Do the police keep a list of "sexist comments" that are arrest worthy? It seems to me a crime about words needs to be very clear what words are a crime.

To answer you question at the end, yes absolutely it's exactly the same. No one should tolerate any violence from their SO at all. If you aren't prepared to leave, and are explicitly telling us not to suggest it, what exactly are you hoping to accomplish by posting here?

First of all, sexual assault and rape are 2 VERY different things. Second of all, this conversation is clearly going nowhere. Have fun in your echo chamber.

I have looked up the data:) Lies. Because if you had looked up the data, you would know it's not often, like you so erroneously claim.
/r/MensRights31/01/22 02:36 PM

You know women do get raped? Often? If you actually cared to look at the data, you would know men and women are raped and "made to penetrate" at very similar numbers. And it sure as shit isn't often.

/r/MensRights25/01/22 07:26 PM

Anecdotally, the friendliest, most trustworthy people I know are men. That being said, I am also inclined to believe that, on average, men would rank slightly lower in those traits....again ON AVERAGE.

Maybe some not dressed like they are trying to fight/seduce The Matrix? They are in Miami, that's kind of standard for Miami. Plus a lot of the women are only fans workers, strippers, escorts and like, so it kind of makes sense. But you shouldn't be paying too much attention to Fresh & Fit. While they sometimes have usefu…

1) it's not just giving birth. This is a Motte and Bailey tactic. 2) yes we should have universal, but we don't. And until that time, the people that use the service more need to pay more. That is what would be fair under our current system. Just like auto insurance, men pay more because they use the system more. 3) again, yes our system is fucked. a further 6% of rapists ever actually get arrested and go to jail? You are misinterpreting this stat. What this really means is only 6% of reported rapes can be proven, in a court of law, beyond all reasonable doubt, that a rape occured. BIG DIFFERENCE.

It's not just their wasted debt. You have to think about this large scale. If 100 people graduate medical school, 50/50 men and women, and 40% of women leave the field, that means the number of practicing doctors went from 100 to 80. While that might not seem like much, year after year this adds up, and could potentially lead to shortage of doctors. That's why it's a concern. Spots of medical school are being given to people that don't intend on staying in the field. It might be more beneficial …

Which is a larger problem. 100 men being killed or 5 women being killed? The answer to the problem is "lets reduce the murder rate to 25% of it's current value." Well then you've just saved 75 mens lives and 3 womens lives. If the answer is, lets reduce the "femicide" problem to 0%, then you've only saved 5 lives. You see the problem here?

I think part of it is women consume more media than men do. So they are going to put themes in the shows to appeal to their female consumers. And feminism is super hot right now...so naturally the media is going to full of feminist "theory". https://www.nielsen.com/us/en/insights/article/2019/attention-marketers-u-s-women-are-eager-to-hear-from-you/ In an average week, the 156+ million women in the U.S. consume just shy of 73 hours of media—that’s five more hours of media than men.

The ratio of men raping to women getting raped isn't 1:1. So in the US there were 100k roughly rape cases in 2018. Subtract the fake ones (using the 2-8% figure feminists brandish about) and your down to 92k. Let's make a wild guess and assume the average rapists rapes 2 women. That's 46k rapist. Out of 175 million men. That's .00026% if my math is right.

The 2,407 survey respondents were representative of the U.S. adult population. The 8% figure represents 20.4 million adults. In 62% of cases, the false accusers were reported to be females. Often, the false allegation was made in the context of a child custody dispute — 27% of cases. Let that sink in. 27% of all false abuses cases happen during child custody disputes.

Exactly. This line of thinking shows that the person that wrote this has never been involved in a highly competitive team sport of any kind. This is a great point to bring up when people say sexism = prejudice + power. If power = government, than it is now, "officially", according to their own definition, possible to be sexist against men.

I watched it, begrudgingly. It's aweful. Clearly the hosts just are looking for reasons to say women are better. To make it even more ridiculous, the very next episode is about unconscious bias....oh the irony. Every single "expert" they had on was clearly a gender studies major, because everything they had to say painted women as victims and men as evil. It's all a bunch of bullshit. Don't watch any more of this show. Don't support this kind of attitude.

The cause usually is lack of proper coping skills and skills on how to deal with the emotions in a healthy way. The problem with a statement like this is you are assuming that men don't have any healthy ways to deal with their emotions. It's just your solopsism making you think that if a man doesn't express his emotions like a woman, it's an ineffective way to do it. Men handle their emotions different than women. Get over it.

You aren't a hard gainer. Stop that bullshit. You simply ARE NOT EATING ENOUGH. Now, onto the real deal: How much are you currently eating? Don't know? Get a calorie tracking app. Use it. Weight yourself, calculate your TDEE. Without this CRITICAL information, we can't help you, and you can't help you. You don't even post your age, height, and weight. That is necessary information. Literally any one of the thousand posts a day asking about this would show you what you need to know.

OK first of all, you do not have a high metabolism. Get that stupid shit out of your head now. You are normal, just like 98% of the people on the planet. Also 3k calories is NOT THAT MUCH. When I'm bulking, I'm eating in excess of 5k a day. So stop your fucking complaining. Eat high calorie foods, nut butters, milk, lots of red meat, potatoes, Svunt shakes. You literally cannot eat more? Literally? Or you just don't want to because it's too hard? Pick one.

If you actually think a good comeback to an insult is a your momma joke, you actually are a child. I call it like I see it. One day you'll grow up, put on your big boy pants, and learn a thing or two.
/r/askTRP05/07/18 04:04 PM

Look here little boy, it's pretty clear from your comment you think you have it all figured out. Next time an adult disrespects you, go ahead and make a "your mom" joke and see how that works out for you. The adults in the room are just going to laugh at you, as they should. If you act like a child, you are going to be treated like a child.

You do know you can eat more without eating a bunch of junk food, right? You want to gain weight. Eat more. It's pretty simple. Do you track your caloric intake? What is your TDEE? What is your BMR? You aren't gaining because you aren't eating.

But you won't do it. Your attitude is defeatist. You've failed from the start. You are looking for the easy way out. There isn't an easy way out. It's hard and challenging. None of that matters to you though because you don't do challenging. You only want easy. You won't put in the effort to change.

Changing your tune now. I bet you won't do it. I bet your just as pathetic as your attitude has been here. Your fat and lazy and you don't want to change. You won't change. You won't do anything because of how much of a failure you are.
/r/askTRP19/06/18 11:23 PM

You've got it all figured out huh? You are a loser bud. You won't do anything challenging in life because you are afraid to fail. Because you will fail. Your attitude here has shown that you are weak mentally as well as physically. You can't handle a challenge because you know you will fail. No one will ever had pity for you. You can't even muster the courage to try. You are already defeated. Your life will never get better. You are going to be forgotten by everyone. Nothing you say or does matt…

You're absolutely right. You could lose the weight and women STILL wont be attracted to you because of your shitty attitude. You are 100% right. Your attitude is that of a simpering beta fag. Women won't be attracted to you even if you looked like Ryan Reynolds. Everything about you screams "I'm an insufferable twat". But you won't lose the weight. You don't even want to try. So you are right, women will never want you. It's not your weight, it's your mindset. You are just as unattractive in you…
/r/askTRP19/06/18 09:36 PM

Waaaaaah, waaaah life it too hard so I'm not gonna try, boo hoooo. That's what you sound like. It's not your weight that makes you unattractive to women, it's your shit personality. You are failure before even trying. That's the worst kind.

Go ahead, keep making excuses for your shitty behavior. You fail because of your attitude, which is clear. You fail because you wont put in the effort. You fail because you DON'T EVEN TRY. You have already failed. What are you going to do about it? Nothing. That much is clear. You don't want to do the work. You don't want to change. You are a failure. Now prove me wrong.
