Hi everyone :) After reading some posts here I've given in and signed up. My unabashed and glaringly obvious motive is to attract and marry a good hearted, strong willed, faithful man with prospects. Here is some background and I'd apprciate feedback on what I can work with:

  • Naturally 8.5 in looks, 9 with effort.
  • Want to be better looking than my partner for ego reasons.
  • 7 when it comes to personality AROUND men. I am not as open approachable or kind to them yet as I'd like to be.
  • Have a religious/spiritual background and ideally want a man with similar beliefs.
  • Never had sex, but I do not and prefer not to disclose this to men (internet is different). -Hate hookup and instasex culture, which unfortunately has been disadvantageous to my dating with men in my age range. While I don't want to engage in promiscuity, there are relational things I need improvement on, which I believe has kept me unattached until now. Things like being physically affectionate and just more open with men in general. The previous point has resulted in me being a bit stunted when it comes to being vulnerable and affectionate with men. I come across as a bit standoffish with them, but am fine with people normally.

Where I am feeling conflicted is with the barrage of opinions older people are thrusting upon me. I resent the idea of having to go through a string of boyfriends 'just because' before settling with a final boyfriend cum husband on the cusp of my thirties. The Game per say that I am trying to play is meeting, finding and attracting that husband to be right now. But I'm getting laughed at for thinking this is viable and lectured that the twenties 'isn't the time to get your life partner' - aka you should be screwing around with arm candy guys and revelling in selfishness until you turn thirty.

Whatever. In what context am I likely to meet a man like this? What places or events should I be frequenting more? What age is he likely to be (my guess is late twenties to mid thirties?). Any red flags to look out for with my aspirations? I attend church regularly but that has yielded little in terms of obtaining dates, there are some attitudes towards dating there which make it hard for men to pursue women.

Looking forward to the answers.
