The second article is written by Warren Farrel who is a really good source for this type of stuff. He even wrote a book Why Men Earn More that talks about the reasons for the earrings gap (it's an earnings gap, not a wage gap or a pay gap; women are paid the same when they work the same as men, they simply earn less, largely because they work fewer hours than men).
