I'm from the US, and I've always found it strange how if a man cries in nervousness of getting pulled over by a cop, the cop laughs and gives him the ticket but you always hear of women crying and getting out of a ticket EVERYWHERE. And I mean EVERYWHERE! My mom, her mom, two aunts, my grandma on my dad's side, people in my grade, it's happening to so many women that I'm starting to wonder if traffic laws even apply to them.
It's almost like a superpower. If you're a woman and you cry, you get out of the ticket instantly. If you're a man, you're getting the fucking ticket. I know this comment section will be full of shit like "I'm a woman and I still got one when I cried" or "I'm a man and I cried and got out of one" and shit but you are an outlier. This shit where women get out of tickets is a super common occurrence and I don't know why this is.
Is it because people think a woman is more sad than a man? Is he supposed to 'man-up' and just take the fine up the ass? Are police officers simping? Who knows.
