How do we handle women-only train cars?

It's like an idiot quarantine car, just avoid it. The women that flock to those cars are the ones that would bitch at you for manspreading, or eyeraping them, and loads of other stupid imaginary shit. Would be nice to have equality and get men only cars as well, can't have that though.

I think it would be a non-issue if there were male-only cars too, or if women had to pay more for tickets for the greater amount of services they receive on account of their gender.

I don't personally see a problem with offering the option. the sad reality is that there are bad apples in the gene pool that make this sort of thing necessary. There should be equal accomodations for males tho, so if you segregated 1 car ONLY for females you would need to also have a car that only males or you've just created a new problem.

Segregation has a bad rep because it is largely associated with segregation due to a very bigoted and misguided policy but that doesn't mean it's always a bad remedy. - Cookie cutter approaches are rarely optimal for everyone in every situation.

for instance I don't really see a problem with all male or all female classrooms because there are reasons why these changes in teaching methodology which are meant to help female students end up hurting male students. I want everyone to have the best education possible and the exact same approach that works really well for some people may not be the best approach for a totally different set of people. these segregated classrooms COULD become a bad idea if the authorities running them are totally biased against one of those groups... shifting all the good teachers, funds and resources to the favored group at the expense of others. that certainly can happen and we've seen historical evidence of exactly that happening with racially segregated schools so if we pursue anything like this there needs to be safeguards and watchdogs to ensure abuses don't occur.

with trains, the main concern I have is that when you create a special car exclusively for females then female riders have more opportunity to catch a ride during peak crowded periods than males. That unfairly burdens male passengers that may end up having to wait longer to catch a spot on the train when they paid the exact same amount for their ticket but are not given the same level of access to the available seating.

In the United States, there doesn’t seem to be the same amount of perverse actions as in some other countries within train cars. You can find numerous distasteful acts in non-western countries (such as groping, flashing and public masturbation) performed on trains and buses (see pornhub) . I’m not sure where this video is exactly pertaining to but understandably, within an area where such behaviors are present, this is segregation warranted for personal safety.
