Yeah dude, it’s wrong. We don’t want to be generalized by feminists, and we shouldn’t generalize women. There are traits that are more common in either sex, but no traits are exclusive to one or the other.

It's very narrow. I want to clarify that I don't mean that as an insult; they are looking at an important component (biology). However, it is one of many and the over-simplification and generalization is where I find issue.

He is right tho. Not many women are capable of good decision making due to their uncontrolled emotions which is why they shouldn’t be the head of the family. They are good care givers tho and very essential for raising children, it is simply their biological task. Men are opposite and giving your main task to a woman does emasculate you.

A lot is being said here. There is an objective standard of good decision making, many women fail this standard, the reason they fail is uncontrolled emotion, those emotional women should not head families.

i think the argument would be stronger if it were about emotions effect on goal setting, rather than on decision making but either way it's doomed. If he wants to claim that decision making is the issue then he must contend with facts.

As far as i know, if there is an objective standard of good decision making that would be g, general intelligence, IQ. More men than women in terms of raw numbers, have significantly low IQ, and a greater percentage of men than women.

On the other hand if he claims that their hearts get in the way, they set the wrong goals, solve the wrong problems - he has no objective fact or standard to appeal to, no one can say if another is right or wrong in that way, to say that they want the wrong thing.

Talk of opposite people is more suited to spongebob. If he had meant 'different on average' he could have said so, and it would have been a different statement. As it is this is a normative statement of masculine identity focused on , apparently, ones main task, presumable heading a family and doing the opposite of care giving.

Its mostly correct. I can see that, for example, in my single mom. Not all women but the majority yes
