I like Yang, it's a shame he's not more popular, easily one of the more intelligent politicans today. I predict men's issues will start getting more political attention in the 2020s.
At this point I'm convinced Yang is a brilliant guy running on a single stupid idea.
Once the election cycle is over, I'm definitely going to give him some attention. Dude's got a great head on his shoulders, I just hope it doesn't end up in politics.
I'm curious about your thoughts. I didn't much like him when I first heard of him, but unlike other politicians, the more I heard from him, the more I liked him.
You hear him talk and he's right about everything, he avoids talking points and instead focuses on the real issues we'll face economically, he speaks REALLY well....
...and then his solution is an arbitrary $1k check in the mail with an unconvincing way to raise the money.
Sadly, I think he would probably raise the deficit significantly, but its worth noting that probably any candidate would do the same. I would rather pay the extra 30 cents VAT for my morning coffee and take home an extra 12 grand a year than watch corporations jump for joy when Biden wins.
I don't want some piece of crap who says a man who works 40-80 hours a weak is getting "Free" labor from the woman living at his home rent free, eating for free, getting power and electricity for free, while she spends the majority of the money he breaks his back for.
Regardless he can't win anyways, so it's a moot point.
Yang would be a good president if only he drops the UBI idea in my opinion. His policies make sense to me generally, he's not evil like Warren or stupid like Sanders.
If I had to vote democrat I'd be left with no choice other than Biden
This is the problem with left wing candidates in general and why I'll never vote for them. I think it's good to have the discussion about men's issues and he's brave for doing it and I can recognise it takes balls to bring up circumcision the way he did.
At the end of the day though he is working against his own nations' interests by bribing voters with the promise of free stuff that isn't actually free and intends to bankrupt his nation in order to do it. If he really cared about men's issues once the campaign is over he should make a cross party effort to work with Trump on the white house council for men and boys that's being set up.
That would actually be something really positive and I'd be totally behind him on that and it would show everyone including me that yes there are people on the left who are willing to take men's issues seriously instead of attacking us all the time and go some way to proving that not all left wingers are a bunch of anti-capitalist man haters.
The guy says that men who work while women stay home (living in a house paid for by a man, on food bought by a man, etc.) are stealing labor from their wives.
"The feminist argument for Universal Basic Income is that it’s a way to reimburse mothers and other caregivers for the heavy lifting they now do free of charge." Great piece by @JudithShulevitz Our society relies on the free labor of women. UBI can help.
He also pushes the wage gap which prevents men from getting help by creating a false narrative of oppression:
Like all feminists he refuses to point out that the causes of these issues stem from feminism itself.
The truth is far from it and you don't have to look hard to see a lack of male teachers in elementary schools while young girls have many female teachers as role models.
This is due to anti-male "All men are rapists" panic created by Feminists, the same Feminists that ban men from their marches, and oppose the presumption of innocence.

Andrew Yang is a man-hating Feminist.
Pushes lies and slander against men via the Wage Gap:

Demonizing men and diminish their contributions:
