The biggest obstacle to women in technology fields has always been misandry, not misogyny. Misandry from women who do not respect nerdy men, and therefore nerdy fields, if not a great deal due to the fact that the traditional image of nerdy men is short, unfit and meek men(all unmasculine traits, which are still viewed as repulsive in men by women). Misandry from feminists who repeatedly seek to malign men in tech, or even basic male heterosexual interest in women from men in tech. Misandry from feminists who seek to ride the false narrative that men are trying to keep them out of technology, or that every nerdy man in tech is their enemy because they have a penis.
