It seems that there is a constantly increasing fear and paranoia regarding men's sexuality. It feels like it doesn't matter how bland or degenerate our tastes are or how polite or forthright our behavior is, everything we do is creepy, everything we like is gross, everything we say is rapey, and our every move is threatening. Even if you're a handsome charismatic playboy everybody loves you're not safe, in fact it only paints a bigger target on your back. I know I'm unattractive and have zero social skills so I just leave women be and try my best to always remain wholly professional, but doesn't stop me from getting hateful, disgusted looks like I'm a child molester or something.
Is this something that's being deliberately cultivated? An act to try and wrestle more power? Something natural that's being amplified by social media? I'd like to know your thoughts.

That is what is affecting your perception OP, no it's not an ever escalating problem. The thing about being "creepy" is it comes down to the other persons standard of creepy looks/appropriate behaviors.
You sound quite paranoid, I'd advise paying a visit to your doctor, talk through these things with professionals.
