not "nearly ruined," he's in the process of having the ruination complete right now! He's likely to lose his job and career despite being exonerated, and he's lost the most important people in his life to this horrible trauma deliberately inflicted on him.
The kid, mom, and cops all should have done things very differently to avoid frivolous damage to this man. None of them ever considered doing so because deep down he is disposable in their eyes. That's the fight he's having internally- "how can I think about having these people in my life when they've proven they'll throw me to the wolves when it's convenient?"
He lost it yesterday at a meeting, he spoke of it being a public position and getting arrested at work get him put through the wringer at the rumor mill. He's trying to pick up the pieces of his life while doing absolutely NOTHING wrong.
I really feel bad for the guy, reading his comments and responses to everything makes one's heart break. He's trying to be nice and asking for understanding and constantly people are looking for any single flaw in everything he says.
He's exemplifies everything that people here fear, and the other side acts like it's no big deal, that there's no ramifications for being accused.
The best thing he can do is ask for severance and get a letter of recommendation from his current job and move to another city. No matter what he does where he is now, he's always going to be stigmatized where he is now.
I am not saying that he should get back with the woman again, but I can understand being compassionate in this situation. The woman didn't really do anything wrong, she did what any person should do when their child claims to be molested, she went to the police. They arrested him, they investigated further, and they let him go when there was no case. The son didn't do it out of malice or anger or wanting to hurt him, he did it out of fear and confusion after actually being molested.
If I was him I wouldn't get back with her, but if my son came to me and told me he was molested this would go down in the exact same way.
Amen. You listen to your kid first over absolutely anything. That kids rights are mens rights too, he is a little boy and by people disagreeing with your comment they are saying they side with the boyfriend over the kid. Your kid comes fucking first, any fucking parent in the goddamn world would listen to their kid first.
Its fucking weird when a bunch of childless, single, incels give relationship advice. I'm done with the sexist bullshit on this subreddit, its fucking disgusting and you should all honestly be ashamed.
Mensrights is about helping men, not shitting all over woman like sexist little shut ins, this shit is disgusting.
I'm not sure what some of these people expected the mother to do, just tell the kid 'no you werent molested'? Yes they can lie, and im not saying the mother shouldn't try to get more information about that, but a good step in doing that is going to the police. and it worked. The real issue I'm seeing here is with the workplace, firing him even though he was cleared of all charges.
I'm not saying the mother couldn't have done more but as a single parent that has to be the scariest thing in dating, worrying about whether or not the real reason someone came into your life is because it would give them access to a child, your child. I believe anyone who says they were molested or raped should go to the police and that you should encourage them to do so. That isn't the same as 'believe all women', in order to find out if the person is innocent there has to be an investigation after all.
It's sad because the kid WAS molested, and he was scared and didn't know what to do.
Never date a single mother unless her husband died early or died from an accident. A single mother already proved she has poor decision making skills in life. Just don't do it, it's not worth it

...or someone changed? He cheated? He decided he was gay? Their love didn't last and they split amicably? They came to an unexpected crisis such as unplanned pregnancy and it took a toll on how they saw each other?
Her, let me men kampf you:
Never date a single father unless his wife died early or died from an accident. A single father already proved he has poor decision making skills in life. Just don't do it, it's not worth it
What the fuck are you on about? This is some Incel shit and you need therapy. A single mother is no different than a single father, only in the fact that in the majority of cases they're the ones that stick around.
I'm using this example statistically and based on what I see in real life.
Jesus christ mate. Mens rights aren't incel rights, they're for men that have been turned away by others, not men that turn them selves away with sexist bullshit like this.
This is fucking tragic that you honestly feel this way. Some of he strongest people I know are single moms, but I'm oh so glad your shitstain parents stayed together after you were born to raise you to be perfect.

The unfortunate answer is he shouldn't.

Who cares what she accepts. Association in this case is voluntary; you never need permission to end a relationship.

Mods over there just locked the thread. Guess it didn't fit their narrative.

The only people to blame here are the ones who are continuing to ruin his reputation after his name has been cleared.
