If you have high standards and are picky about who you date, how does it affect you?

I do not enter into romantic relationships easily and I see that it can affect me negatively and positively.

Negatively: the dating pool becomes less and I get too invested too early.

Positively: I don't settle, I'm happier in the long run, and the connection is off the charts.
