As much as I’m sympathetic to people suffering from severe depression, I don’t consider it an excuse for more lenient sentencing in cases like this. She should be sentenced to 25 years to life for each child, and at a bare minimum serve 40 years. Such behavior is inexcusable, as was the judge’s sentence of 10 years.

This is the UK though, where there are different sentencing guidelines (and thus justice systems) for men and women. Judicially imposed misandry is the new normal over there.
