this is an incredibly sad case of someone who got mad that her friend became more famous then her so accused the friend of rape. (I'll add more info in the comments)

so melanie went on the voice and did not manage to win, but somehow got famous and is now quite popular. her friend (tommy) was not pleased that this happened as they both where trying to get there music out there.

so tommy decided to accuse mel of rape, when the rape supposedly happened mel was in another part of the country. mel also had different hair then what tommy discribed and if I remember correctly she decided tumblr was the best place to expose her.

tommy also never went to the police.

(tommy is a girl)

this is a horrible case of false rape

I don't agree with this mentality. Honesty shouldn't be punished.

Cardi B wasn't caught. She wasn't MeToo-ed. She came forward, like Liam Neeson did, and spoke about her past transgressions. She didn't brag about it. She was poor, she was in a gang, she was a sex worker, and she committed crimes.

Punishing people who come forward about their actions essentially tells them that they should be dishonest and hide their past instead of being truthful.
