I started to distance myself from this contemporary version of feminism also because of this bullshit. I don't understand how other women can claim this victorian approach to sexuality(where the woman is a poor idiot who can't understand what's happening and falls for tacky compliments) can be considered empowering at all. Girl, he might have been sweet-talking you but that doesn't mean he raped you. This is also how the game works isn't it? Reading the story you'd think it an open and shut case of getting laid, end of story. But it doesn't matter that she gave him her number, texted in caps she loved him, stayed over at his room in his bed before, and she invited him to her room knowing her roommate was out, and after the deed said she wanted to do it again - fucking hell this is a parody article, isn't it? Imagine the guy thinking he had a girl who liked him and wanted to sleep with him and do so again then switcheroo! she's practically another person he doesn't recognize like some sci-fi horror film Body Snatchers style. With these kinds of stories, it's small wonder a lot of guys are wary as hell and the promise that most women wouldn't do this isn't that comforting as all it takes is one and you're fucked and not in a good way. And a number of women who say they would never do this, it's just a matter of time for some.
