We are getting a few stories like this. I don't understand why there's a policy ever to separate a child from a parent in these situations. I don't understand why people lack the compassion to bend or break those policies. It baffles me sometimes.

There are well over 200 shelters in the US for the 60% of abused women. There is one in the entire country for the 40% of abused men.

That is the equality that feminist promised us...

I work in this sector, and I really really hate this. This absolutely isn't a new feminism thing, this is a result of older draconian views and policies going back hundreds of years.

Feminists have acutally worked very hard to keep it this way. When a women tried to open a battered mens shelter she was sued, harrassed, threatened with physical violence and death threats from feminists.. Guess who won? The feminists with thier goverment lackies. Feminism is anti egalitarian. Always will be.. always has been.

My take on this isn’t that it’s anti-men, rather it’s just not very well thought out. I agree that it’s silly, and something needs to change, but I don’t think it’s quite accurate to say “they won’t let him in because he’s a man”. Again, something still needs to change, since I’m sure this situation has happened plenty of times before.
