Biologically most men are expendable.

It's very cruel, as cruel as nature and reality.

However in the world that exists egg donation and surrogacy can now be had for money so any man of disposable income can be a parent.

They're not considered 'expendable' but society certainly thinks there's something wrong with you if you're not at least desperately trying to find a woman by a certain age. There have been quite a few articles on this, rather than actually asking why men are single beyond a certain age and are avoiding marriage which is now a trend news outlets are watching they prefer to levy all the blame at men and shame them claiming they're just cowardly or they don't want to commit.

Can't possibly be a whole myriad of issues nevermind the fact that a disturbing number of women buy into the feminist victimhood narrative and think it means they can treat men like crap constantly. I think though when it comes to more extreme circumstances like war though people do have a point when they bring up male expendability and doing dangerous jobs. Feminists especially love preaching equality and working for same amount of money but when they actually have to take responsibility and do the same hours or go through the same danger men do in order to earn? Nah, fuck it, they'll immediately switch their positions.

Yes. Men are disposable in our current society. This is called the "patriarchy" and goes way back to women and children first.

You perceive it as genes because you (like every one else indoctrinated) were taught that self worth comes from how women judge you.

It's not as depressing as it seems, and it's actually a form of release when you realize this society itself is disposable. Women are disposable too, ultimately.

The question every man should ask himself is why work to build a society that doesn't give a hoot about him?

Your question is flawed on so many levels, and is based on so many assumptions, lets break a few of them down.

(1) Assuming that attracting women is based on genetics. Women will overlook men they find attractive if he is low status.

(2) Assuming that powerful men who get women have good genes. There are countless examples of rich powerful men being physically or mentally sick.

(3) Assuming that what women find attractive is due to good genetics.

Most males not being able to procreate follows almost by definition of maleness: many expendable high risk gametes (in search for a few expensive low risk gametes).

So this is the case in most species with sexual reproduction.

But in any social species, the individuals that don't procreate usually also are highly important in the reproductive success of their relatives, i.e. the ones with the most similar genes.

Most extreme example would be something like state insects, where only one in a million, the queen and a few dozen males, get to procreate, and all the others make sure they are successful in that.

And in humans families, clans, tribes, nations are just that: vehicles to support the reproductive success of those genetically close to you.

So no, even if you don't procreate yourself, but contribute well to your group and society, you are not expendable, even in the genetic sense, because those genetically closer to you will almost certainly benefit the most from your contributions.
