Only ‘beta males’ and incels are afraid of rejection, according to this woman. Well, I wanted to talk about this whole alpha/beta black and white distinction and what you all think of it.
I don't see the incel discussion or the fear of rejection discussion in the Twitter conversation, but here is what I think on the topic in general.
In order to get the opposite sex to make more of an effort, people shame the opposite sex for not having enough sex. Women who call men beta and incel, for example. They couldn't care less, nor do they even know, if those men are beta or incel. They are just trying to pressure the men into making more of an effort to have sex. When women say such things, they are revealing more of their own insecurities than insecurities of the men they are talking about. It's the same when women accuse men of being afraid of rejection. They are using a form of reverse psychology to dare the men to make more of an effort to ask them out or try to have sex with them.
Also, the incel thing was originally started by a woman. But I think there are very few real incels. Most people could get laid if they wanted to. The problem is they (both sexes) try to date outside their league and then they project the failure of that approach onto involuntary circumstances.
Lastly, alpha and beta personality types are both based on social insecurities, in my opinion. The only difference is that they react to those insecurities in different ways, alphas by portraying themselves as dominant and superior to boost their own egos, betas by following people who they feel might boost their social status. Omega people are naturally the most confident and secure. They neither worship the alpha people nor look down upon the beta people, because they don't have to.
