I assume this is during normal travel hours, which would be shitty irregardless of sex.

I travel a lot and see this usually in the mornings or evenings when people cheaped out on flights and got shitty flight times or have a long lay over night.

Had a relatively large woman get on the bus I take every day to get home recently (I live in Vancouver and this bus which goes through downtown is packed, every day, no standing room 80% of the time.). She didn't tap her compass card (how you pay) and she told a young man to stand up so she could sit. Of course, being a polite person, he stood, and she promptly sits down, pushing the next person out of their seat as well. Meanwhile, the person standing next to her seat is now being told to move by the bus driver - who knows fully well that she hasn't even paid. 3 people have to get off the bus and wait 6 minutes for the next one. Was terrible to see.
