It's based on mythology. The myth that women are better multi-taskers has been debunked in a couple dozen studies at this point. Men and women are equally shitty, for the most part, at managing multiple tasks at once.

Women DO NOT do all those things AT THE SAME TIME. They may switch from one to the other, alternating, but it is NOT "multitasking". Multitasking is Leonardo DaVinci writing with one hand and drawing with the other simultaneously.

Quit perpetuating this misnomer of "Women are better at multitasking". It is not the same thing. They are also very inefficient at it. If you were to concentrate on single tasks consecutively, you would finish them much faster

Do you not think he multitasks AT WORK??? Every job I've been at, even basic ones require you to look after a few things at once/complete different tasks at the same time.

-send kids to school -do laundry/ fold clothes -apply makeup -talk on the phone

-go to work (to pay for clothes, washing machine, water, electricity, school fees, makeup accessories and phone bill)

Although this is a good post, the title does not say enough about its subject. This forces people to click and read before they can decide whether they are interested. It also makes searching impossible.

If everyone did this, the subreddit would become unusable.

So please don't do it in future. Take the time to describe your link, and save the time of hundreds of other people.

When making a title, it's best to assume the reader doesn't know what you're talking about - but don't go overboard with every detail. Then check if there are any words you can cut out without losing any important information.

Talking on the phone and applying makeup are jobs commended here for multitasking?

If dad tries to multitask at what probably is a 'real job' and screws something up, he could be dead. If mom here screws something up then it could be a missed velcro on the diaper at worst.

Women are used to have the family role so they know how to handle multiple things at the same time better than men.
