(Ps I know the irony of my username.)
Im taken more seriously as a woman in that if I say I was sexually assaulted by a woman, I’m taken more seriously than if I was a man who claimed to have been sexually assaulted by a woman.
However, I would not be taken as seriously as a woman who claims to have been sexually assaulted by a man.
This woman who sexually assaulted me was a legit pedophile. She is 30 years older than me. I was 11 when she started to touch my butt, even after I asked her to stop several times. I called her a pedophile to my mom, and my mom just laughed at me.
I just wanted to acknowledge my privilege in this situation, as compared to how a man would have been told to embrace being sexually assaulted. I hope that society soon realizes that women can sexually assault too.
