I found an article that argued "misandry" should not be a hate crime. The author based this solely on the fact that women are more likely to be the victims. The author says saying "abuse has no gender" is inaccurate and is happy too say that men are not affected like women are.

No! I am pro freedom of speech. Misogyny should not be a hate crime. There shouldn't be anything called hate crime. That's just new laws that increase prison time and only ever applied to men, and never to women.

This is dangerous territory. Passing new laws to silence people.
