Where was this? If it was in the US and there was strong evidence that she had done it, that's a crime and the police can arrest her even if he doesn't want them to. It should be a criminal matter.

It’s disturbing how much this happens too, and how many cops take away the MAN when called to the house. Many have told me it’s a taught but unwritten policy to remove the man. It’s fucked up. What I found surprising and really respected the officers on COPS for, is that they almost always detain the obvious/ probable abuser, which was often female.

I have a friend who had an ex like this, bottles and all. They had a kid (eughhh) she's fucked off and is playing the victim and social services are siding with her and her family with a long history of intervention! Social services are aggressive towards him and I want to help him get the custody he deserves. She is a psycho. Extreme manipulator, refused to meet me because she knew I'd see through her bullshit. Smart. What can I do? I've advised him to take a solicitor to all meetings but he is too naive and thinks society is fair still. I worry the baby is going to be abused, they really are the type to do that.

Dan, and every last one of you guys that have been abused need to press charges THE FIRST TIME, or this is what happens. The law is against you, just waiting for it to escalate. This is not the time or place to be manly and suck it up.
