Tell you what, me and my ex have had our fair share of issues and she was a real pain in the ass with letting me see my son regularly when we first split up but I'm so grateful that we've come to terms without the assistance of any courtroom and split time with our son 50/50 with very little problems most of the time. She's gone off the deep end a few times and threatened to take me to court but cooler heads prevail, I don't know what I would do if I only got to see my son a couple days out of the month honestly, he's the most important thing in my life and basically the whole purpose for me sticking around this crazy world, I can't imagine the pain that good dads have endured due to double standards.

Good example. My father owns an electrical contracting company. He's had over 80 different electricians come and go some apprentices some masters and a little over 200 applicants. Most of the work came from a contract with a real estate developer who contracted other companys to build custom residential properties from scratch. Since the electrical work involved in this would be foundation work it was more labor intensive than service call work, jobs included wiring homes, setting up electrical housing, panel installation, and appliance installation once the homes were near completion. Out of the 200 applicants he's gotten he's only ever received one application from a woman. My father is a man who believes in equality so he hired her and sent her to work. First couple of months were basic and her wages stayed low since she was getting acquainted, however she started to complain that her wages weren't on par with other workers who were all men and that they made almost 3x her wages but they also did more advanced work at a quicker pace, so my father started to give her more advanced work and then entrusted her with completing and entire home by her self. My father does this with all his workers every couple months to gauge their improvement in speed and quality of work, the average Male workers could complete and entire 950 square foot home within 4 working days. Her speed when working on her own was horrendous, once the house got 9 days in on her own my father had to send in a small crew to re-do half the work she did. After this conundrum my father had to fire her since she was costing him money since she wasn't quick enough at the job. She later applied for an even bigger electrician position at an even larger company, got the job and was fired 1 week later because she couldn't compete with the labour requests of the position. She came back and my father hired her again and set her to small jobs that weren't as labour intensive. She complained again about her pay and quit. She's been out of the field since I last heard.

Moral of the story, equality won't work everywhere since men and women aren't made the same, both sexes have advantages over the other.
