Obligatory tl;dr at the bottom

Also this might not seem relevant to this sub, but just wait pls the story is quite long

For some background info, my family and relatives are on vacation and this just happened.

Anyways, we were eating dinner at the resort buffet, and my mom - as usual - asked me to bring her a few things. Now for the past few days ive been doing shit for her and i havent been minding it too much. But today i was tired and resting, so i decided to wait on it and told her i was tired and just said "why dont u get it urself?" In an annoyed tone. My mom didnt respond, so i didnt think much of it, and i got her the fruits she wanted as well as my own dessert. Now, i have to add that it was not an easy task. I had to handle two dishes and put them with food, so not only was it hard i had to put extra attention so that i didnt drop the plate because there was a lot of food on the tables and i had to keep it on an edge after placing it a multiple different ways and thinking it would fall, or someone might think its rude. Anyways after the hassle i get her the food, and she complains that the part of the fruits i got wasnt tasty. Ofc, being annoying i kinda said loudly: "well then why dont you get it yourself? Cant u even say a thank you?" And ate my own food. Then, a few minutes later, my mom asks for more food. I get pissed and say im not bringing it to her and she gets a bit mad and says she wont be giving me allowance and insults me. I really didnt want to, but i just say: "do you rly think id want to go!?" And reluctantly start crying. I rly didnt want to cry because im in 10th grade, and it was in front of my relatives. Now id also like to mention that i really dont cry often. Idk why, i just felt so hurt about it and how she would ask for more. So the first thing people say is seriously? Youre a grown kid! Why r u crying?

Later, we come back home and i bolt straight upstairs and look at my phone. Up till then some people (mainly my dad and uncle) joke a little bit but also take my side and tell me to chill and comfort me.

Anyways while im looking at my phone my mom comes in to yell at me for getting mad at her. The conversation goes on until she punches me and leaves, without saying sorry, and saying that it was a mistake to bring me here.

Ofc feeling sad i stay upstairs and cry while the other family drinks and has fun downstairs. After a out a minute or so my uncle comes up and says that women are just like that and we should deal with it, and takes my side and comforts me, and says i should just apologise and get over with it. He leaves and i come down shortly after.

Now what i dont get is why TF i should apologise. Im aready annoyed and mad as hell that i didnt get an apology from mom and she just got more mad at me. Also, the fact that i felt so ashamed to cry upset me as well.

Tl;dr mom got mad at me for nothing and i started crying. Relatives say i should man up and just apologise to her to get it over with.
