Ah, the evils of the patriarchy! That's what's causing the misfits to go astray and refuse to participate in the meat grinder that society puts other men through.

Weird, though, how that's become a more and more pronounced problem as society falls over itself more and more to accommodate girls/women. You'd think that if it really were the patriarchy, it would have been a larger problem historically than today.

Almost like "The Patriarchy" is a bullshit boogieman concept who's only purpose is to denigrate men and their ideals.

The social ecosystem (public school) doesn't prize males at all. There was an experiment done--I'll go try to find it--where audiences of plays claimed to hate typically masculine characters. Then when the same story was remade with the character being a "progressive, modern male" people hated him even more.

For boys it's damned if you do damned if you don't. They have no direction. No fathers, raised by feminists at school with the few remaining male role models completely castrated, begging for forgiveness on Twitter because they hit on a coworker.

Well I think boys are awesome if they're nerdy science geeks or alpha male athletes. Fuck the Washington Post and everything else feminist taking over society.

You know, this article while flawed actually shows something to us that I think we are aware of and can guess that it would happen, which is the boys commentary on teachers favoring girls because “they have a better reputation.” And the part about the girl bullying and hurting him and saying he can’t do anything because she’s a girl.

And the part about how they want to avoid dating because it causes problems and wanting to join an all boys school. But the later to me sounds more like they just haven’t hit puberty yet so they aren’t sexually attracted to women yet. But maybe this avoidance of girls is also because they know it will end badly for them because they are afraid girls will abuse their newfound status.

But the sad part to me is how feminism is now causing young boys to be fearful of girls and want to avoid them. We’re seeing through these boys eyes how difficult it is to be raised in this clearly biased society we live in.

I am glad that the writers include these things that are negatively affecting boys and how these social outcast boys are retreating from social circles. But they don’t realize why, and it’s because men are more harshly treated for failure and the favoring of girls. Women typically point to men dominating the top tiers of success, but that’s the thing about being a man.

Your place in society is earned, and if you fail, you’re excluded from society. The best get praised, the worst get demonized. Boys & men are more harshly judged for their abilities to perform and rewarded greatly for their success. Women are trying to gain equal status in recognition for accomplishment, while avoiding the risk of being demonized and cast out. They want all the reward with none of the risks. They confidently leave out half the equation.
