I got banned from asktrangender for posting this; https://i.imgur.com/72BUMI5.png . You can read through the comments. I dont know why these ask-us subreddits even exist. Most posts get downvoted anyway.

As you can see, I'm all in favor for separating biological sex type from gender. A male can be a woman, a female can be a man. I get it, I personally dont have an issue with that, and take opposition to those like Ben Shapiro who attempt to conflate sex-type with gender. I think Shapiro's argument would crumble instantly against someone who insists on the distinction.

What does bother me is when transgender people try to tell me that they are able to transition from one biological sex to another. One comment claimed I was being disrespectful for "reminding" people of something they want to forget. This is insane, and leads me to believe that there is an underlying shame or hatred of being male. That hatred can only come from social conditioning.

On one hand, I think a lot of transgender people have a persecution complex, and I should just let them be their miserable selves. If they want to live ashamed and in denial, then let that be. On the other hand, I think this is very damaging to transgender children. I hate seeing this persecution and shame being forced onto those kids. Transgender kids should be taught that it's ok to be male and a girl at the same time, or female and a boy at the same time.

I believe my view is this is true middle ground.

On one side you have people, including many here (who would downvote this post), who are adamant that all people who are biologically male should live as boys.

On the other side you have those (such as the one's that banned me from the trans subreddit) who believe all people who identify as girls are also biologically female.

Both sides of the argument, in my opinion, are insane. Why can't we teach young males not to be ashamed of what they are, and allow them the freedom to be who they are?
