They are asking for submissions:

”What is the effect of the following on men and boys’ mental health:

- Gender stereotyping in childhood

- expectations around work”

So those are the first two questions in that section. They are pushing the narrative that men have mental health issues because they did not wear dresses when they were children, and that they want to do naughty “masculine” jobs such as fighting fires and digging up roads.

I'm not in the UK but I would answer this question something like this.

What are the most pressing issues that affect men and boys’ mental health, and how are these different to the wider population?

The most pressing issue for men and boys mental health is a government that publicly demonstrates to men and boys that they are important, respected and cared for.

Currently, the government shows men and boys that they are a secondary concern. This is starkly obvious because this committee is called "The Women and Equalities Committee".

Other examples of the government showing men they are a secondary concern are: [Insert government and institutional supports for women but not men]
