UBC Professor Steven Galloway is suing the woman that falsely accused him of sexual assault as well as all of those that continue to propagate these lies after he was found innocent of any wrongdoings.

The alleged defamations by Maillard and Lyon mainly relate to things they allegedly said to UBC colleagues about Galloway (that he “raped Cara Cole,” for instance) at internal meetings in 2015.

I had to read in pretty far to find what he was suing for, defamation. I hope he wins.

He was fired in June of 2016, despite a report which effectively cleared him of wrongdoing.

Good.

People that spread damaging, horrible lies publicly deserved to be sued. It's not enough to sue a false accuser.
