This is great news!

Here in Australia we've been vaccinating girls since 2007 and boys since 2013, and we're already seeing signs that the rate of cervical cancer among the vaccinated age group is rapidly headed towards zero. It's too early for strong evidence that it will similarly reduce the rate of other HPV-caused cancers, including those in men, but there's every reason to think it will.

BTW, Australian data showed that there's still substantial benefit to boys from only vaccinating girls. The large majority of boys & men are straight, so if most girls & women are vaccinated and thus not carrying HPV, then the unvaccinated males are less likely to be exposed to it. But it's still far better to vaccinate boys as well as girls, so this is an important step forwards.
