Literally right now, if you're a woman, just go lie about rape. Chances are, you probably will get away with it. Even if you are found to be completely lying, most people are going to use mental gymnastics.

When I went to college, this chick claimed she was raped on campus. The president of the university even offered a big reward to find the rapist.

It turns out, after so many damn resources were wasted, she recants. She said she was lonely because she was out of state. She even went as far as duct-taping herself to a bridge on campus to say that her rapist did that as she was being raped.

Keep in mind I am no rape apologist or whatever. I think actual rape victims deserve justice, but people shouldn't fucking believe every random accusation, every random possible Me Too incident that may or may not have happened.

It's literally boiling down to her word versus a dude (well, more than 90 percent of the time).

I’m sorry if she was indeed raped 13 years ago as she claims. That’s terrible. But the fact it was over a decade ago does make you less credible. That’s the nature of evidence. Any and all crime should be reported as early as possible to gather as much evidence as possible. Witnesses, including victims, are less credible years after the fact. People are really letting emotions run wild rather than facing the facts.
