Someone I know said that women are worse off in society because "they are more scared of getting raped while walking down the street," completely ignoring the fact thwt men are raped almost just as much as women. I just had to shoot over some facts.

Men are much more likely to be assaulted and mugged. Men receive more online harassment(albeit women get more sexual harassment). And if you include prison rape, men get raped more too. But of course we can’t discuss these things because it’s blasphemy according to the religion of feminism.

Yeah, its true, i had a talk with some women not too long ago, that they were scared to walk down streets and stuff for risk of being attacked or raped. My question was...why?

Strangely enough they didn't have an answer, pretty sure they'd just been conditioned to fear such scenarios.

From what i understand the attitudes on things like domestic violence, rapes, general violent crime and the like are simply because the actual facts are not made widely known to the general populace. In practically every first world country(except japan, for some reason) men are victims of more crime overall in every area.

I'm not saying all men are saints, but i wish people would understand the real numbers and not the sensationalized bullshit thats pumped out everywhere.

Women have higher neuroticism and anxiety than men. It's biological. Of COURSE they're more fearful. Doesn't mean they're right.

Men are much more likely to be assaulted than women are. We're just not afraid of it.

Is that statistic about male rapes true? Goddamn. Can I see a source for that? (Not doubting you, just want to read about it)

This is country-specific, but it says 17% of women are victims, compared to 4% of men - and 93% of the time, men are the perpetrator.

The wikipedia page for rape by gender (more international) shows slightly different stats, but still seems to be quite a bit worse for women.

Not saying that it's not a huge issue (doubly so because it's barely addressed in common media), but idk if

men are raped almost as much as women

is an accurate statement.
