All very fair and straightforward , good post, but then the last paragraph “don’t go there you might get shot”. Like what? Where did violence of guns come into play?

Yes, they were showing preferential treatment to a poorly behaved student , yes they catered to a shitty teaching atmosphere, etc etc.. but that doesn’t meant they would overlook physical violence or gun safety. It has nothing to do with the whole article. It’s like the conclusion paragraph just came totally out of nowhere.

I guess the learning tip here is just to make sure as soon as a student is a problem you report it as soon as you can. And record the instances.
