Dude, if she's "about to swing" you've past the point of no return a while ago. She has already built consensus and she has already lowered your value (either hamstered it down or betafied) for herself. How the fuck did that go unnoticed?
There's not a lot to do to prevent her from swinging now. Extreme displays of value and active dread maybe.

What's the best thing to do in this scenario?

You have a million choices, just be rational about it.

If you're good friends, you can end the sexual engagement with her and use her as a pivot to get laid in the trip;
If you paid for the trip you can end shit now (tell her it's being torturing to keep with her when you don't love her anymore and also happens to know she has a crush on someone else), take the plate abroad, enjoy fuckathlon;
Will the trip be better taken alone or with your (soon to swing) chick? Just take her for a good last ride;
Go inception about having threesomes abroad;
Cancel and get money back.

Anyway, don't enact that plan of going to plate's house and making her take the bus alone and ghosting. That's being the wrong kind of asshole, not the sexy kind. It'll hurt your image.

Did you pay for the trip? If you did, get a refund on hers or switch her with someone youd want to go with (obviously after breaking up and telling her she no longer has a seat).

If she paid for her ticket and you still want to go? IDGAF and treat her politely at a distance. You do not owe her any DEERing.
